Because they need them more than we do right now (to keep protecting us from COVID).
Because New Yorkers never leave New Yorkers behind.

Grab a drink. Text your friends. Let's do this together.
Items most needed on the PPE list can often be stored away in restaurants, hardware stores, ski stores, construction sites, nail salons, hair salons, tattoo shops, veterinary offices, and other businesses.
This list of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requests was provided by ER doctors and healthcare staff treating COVID-19 patients in NYC.
The bold text marks the most commonly requested items—though all are very important. The * red asterisk marks common household items!
All pick-ups are 'contact-free.' If you're able, please work with your neighbors or building(s) to organize group donations for the greatest impact.
For large donations or questions, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We have trucks ready and waiting to pick up and deliver to local hospital units running out of supply that day. We work with nonprofits and grassroots organizations to deliver them directly in the hands of front line healthcare workers in need.
Businesses who donate: we and our partner network will share your story on social media!
Able to ship instead? Email us email@example.com and we'll connect you to the most immediate need that day.
Give to PPENow, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in NYC specializing in procurement of all PPE and getting them directly in the hands of front line workers.
We have yet to come across a more careful and organized operation in the city! They have direct lines to manufacturers with negotiated pricing, test PPE before distribution, track hospital units with us to follow rapidly changing needs across multiple databases from City hospitals, to nursing homes, to food pantries.
You can rest assured, your donation will be allocated thoughtfully to help those who need it most.
This section is reserved for the top requested PPE in NYC hospitals at this time — and for weeks it has been gowns.
NYC's fashion industry workers have come together to hand-sew gowns to fill in the urgent need right now to get millions of gowns into the State as soon as possible. They're also sending to NJ's hardest hit hospitals. Your donation goes to raw material so they can keep sewing (their team of volunteer makers are not taking a dime for their labor).
Looking for a way to stretch your donation dollars to help both restaurants and front-line workers in need? There are awesome restaurants and groups organizing this in the city. Today, we are featuring HOSPITAL-ity, where every $5 = a meal for a healthcare worker.Gift a MEAL for $5
If you're looking at the share links above like, "I only insta"... then these pretty images are for you.
You're done!! Thank you!
Pat yourself on the back. Show off to your friends. Finish that drink.
You. are. awesome.
We know you and your team members needed more PPE yesterday. If we work together, we can add rocket fuel to this operation and save more lives.
Add your requests if you're in or around the NYC area (25 mile radius from Manhattan).
We're working to consolidate our database with other local PPE donation efforts, to save time and get efficient together. In the meantime, we thank you for filling out yet another PPE form :)
We are a small volunteer team of local citizens and small business owners. We run a marketing agency by day, and wanted to use our skills to organize a collective effort and help our NYC healthcare workers during this crisis. They take care of us every day. Now it's our turn to make our best efforts to take care of them.
Once our hospitals have enough, we’ll close our doors.
